Terms and Conditions

~ The whole tutorial creation process usually takes 6-8 weeks to complete; however, allowances must be made for unspecified delays.

~ Learn To Make Jewellery has an exact system for pricing our designs. We do not charge any extra for a custom designed tutorial, than we would if you bought it off the shelf.

~ Consultations and quotes are provided free of charge, with no obligation to order.

~ Price quotes are valid for two weeks and are subject to change after the two week period has expired.

~ Written quotes are approximate, and the final full retail price of the tutorial will depend on the finished package.

~ Make What You Love tutorials created just for you are not eligible for any promotions or discounts.

~ Upon contracting Learn To Make Jewellery for a custom tutorial, an initial deposit of the written quoted price will be due. This deposit will be applied toward your final payment amount for your custom design order and may not be applied toward any other purchase from Learn To Make Jewellery. Upon completion of project, any discrepancy between the written quoted price and the actual final full retail price will be either due, or refunded.

~ Learn To Make Jewellery will endeavor to work within a written quote; however, due to the handmade nature of our projects, allowances must be made for extra mechanics and components to fulfill the mandate of the project.

~ If the final full retail price exceeds the written quote by more than 50%, no more than that extra 50% will be due; however, if another identical package is subsequently ordered, the customer will pay full retail price.

~ If the project is cancelled any time during the design process by the customer, the initial deposit of the written quoted price will be forfeited. If the project is cancelled after completion of project, the initial deposit of the written quoted price will be forfeited,  and if the final full retail price exceeds the written quote by more than 50%, no more than that extra 50% will also be due immediately. No refunds shall be issued.

~ If the project is cancelled by Learn To Make Jewellery, deposits and payments will be refunded at our discretion.

~ In the event that the process takes longer than the 6-8 week time frame due to the actions of the customer, the initial deposit of the written quoted price will be non-refundable. If the project is already in production, a further payment of 50% of the written quote will be due immediately. Upon completion of the project, if the final full retail price exceeds the written quote by more than 50%, no more monies will be due. If the final full retail price exceeds the written quote by less than 50%, or if the final full retail price is lower than the written quote, refunds of the discrepancy shall be issued.

~ Rush orders will be accommodated only if the design schedule of Learn To Make Jewellery allows it, and will be subject to a 10%-50% surcharge of the final full retail price, depending on the customer’s time frame.

~ Due to the labour involved with crafting custom projects to desired specifications, all pieces created for Make What You Love orders are final sale and are ineligible for return or refund.

~ Make What You Love orders are designed to meet Learn To Make Jewellery’s stringent quality standards and, as with all our projects, customised or stock, are covered by Learn To Make Jewellery’s Creative Therapy Guarantee. If there is confirmation of a material defect, we will provide the necessary services to ensure that the Make What You Love project is replaced, as appropriate, to meet our stringent quality assurance standards.

~ Learn To Make Jewellery owns all intellectual property developed in the custom order design process.

~ Learn To Make Jewellery shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from delay in delivery by a contracted delivery specialist.
